Vera Dervishi
Singer, one of the golden voices of the microphone of the Albanian song.
Born in Tirana on May 8, 1951. Graduated from the High Institute of Arts in the Music department. She belongs to that generation of singers who are considered the golden voices of the microphone. In addition to other music activities during the time when she was active, she participated in a total of five Song Festivals in RTSH, performing a total of 9 songs.
In 1968, Vera participated in the 7th Festival with two songs: “Song for my friend” and “Action is Calling Us”. A year later, in 1969, she performed: “Te kendojme gjithmone” and “Lumturi”.
In 1970, took to the stage of the Festival of the 9th edition also with two songs: “S’te Krahasoj”; “Shoku i bankes”.
Continues her participation for the 4th time in a row in the 10th Festival (1971) with the song “From Another Season”. After 4 years, Vera returns to the Festival stage in 1975, with two songs: “My friend”; “Te Me Rritesh Bujkeshë”.
This edition, the 14th, will mark her 5th and last participation. This year, (1975) she is competing in the Music Survey (Anketa Muzikore) with the song “Harvest Day” and is also included as singer in the musical feature film “Journey in spring” with the song “I want weapons and ammunition” wearing a military uniform, propaganda of the time when all the people were soldiers (video as below)!
