Pellumb Dervishi
Documentary film director, feature film director’s assistant and actor.
Born in Tirana on July 7, 1946. Completed a two-year course from 1971 to 1973 as an actor at the “Popular Theater” and then was appointed to the Kinostudio “Shqiperia e re” as an assistant director.
Among his best documentary films as an assistant director are: “Mustafa Matohiti”; “Doktori i apasionuar”; “Portrete Nenash”; “Ftese ditelindjesh”; “Me detin perbrenda”; “Meteori i skenes”.
Some of his films are dedicated to the great artists of the Albanian stage and screen such as Sulejman Pitarka, Naim Frasheri, Luftar Paja…
Pellumbi performed as an actor in secondary roles in several Albanian films starting as a child in the film “Debatik” (1961) in the role of Genci;
