Tefta Hamzaraj is an actress in the theater “Skampa”, Elbasan, among the most popular professional Albanian troupes. In the history of this 50-year-old professional theater institution, which includes more than 120 premieres by Albanian and foreign authors, awarded with the highest awards in national Albanian theater festivals, the actress Tefta Hamzaraj was also a glorious part in the pages of this story.
There are many theater performances that she worked on and performed alongside big names such as director Lec Shllaku, Tomorr Shishmani, fellow actors Demir Hyskja, Robert Ndrenika, Shpetim Shemili, Eduart Cala, Veronika Papa, Olimbi Dhima, Astrit Cerma, etc.
“Justina”, “Linda”, “The distant road”, “Cell number 7”, “Zavalineve Road”, “The man who saw death with his eyes”, “Guilty without guilt”, “The fisherman’s family” are some of the shows with of the successful Elbasan theater where the charming actress Tefta Hamzaraj gave her contribution.
Her acting and realism in the embodiment of the characters caught the eye of the directors of the film “Shqiperia e Re”!
Thus in 1972 has an episodic role in the film “Kapedani” that of the barber:
– What do you want to do uncle? Do you want to shave? – she says, surprised by Uncle Sulo’s action
– No, I just wanted to look at myself in the mirror – he replies.
In 1979, she also had a role in the RTSH movie “A November Night” as the criminal’s daughter.
