Gjovalin Gjoka
Theater and Cinematography actor.
He was born in Shkoder on Jully 8, 1944. Graduated as an actor at the High Institute of Arts in Tirana during the period 1963-1967, and then started working as an actor at the Popular Theater.
He is the son of the great actor Pjeter Gjoka. Developed his artistic activity mainly in the late ’60s and the ’70s. Although not with the brilliance of his father, as an actor of secondary roles, his artistic career is more in the theater where we can mention some of them: “Second Face” (1968)….role of a builder ; “Arturo Ui (1971) …….old man’s son Dogsboru ; “Cuca e maleve” (1972)…….Leka ; “The great flood” (1977)…..Leka; “The great faith” (1978)…….Mehmet Ali Dreni
Gjoka was also active in Kinostudio’s films, notably: “The Fall of Idols” (1977), “Radio station” (1979).
