Vladimir Saliu
Actor of Albanian theater and cinematography, dubber and director of recorded sound.
Born in Tirana. Graduated from the High Institute of Arts. An actor, although mainly of secondary roles, performed and adapted quite well in different genres, whether in drama or comedy.
There was no lack of his activation in several Albanian films produced by Kinostudio, where he caught the eye for the timbre of his voice. This is how he began performing in the cinema in 1974 in the film
“The Explosion” in the role of Gjergji and a year later in the TV Film “General of the Dead Army” .
While in the theatrical performances we can mention the performance of the role of Lieutenant Paul in “Gryka e nemur” in 1979.
Other plays: “The Prefect” (1973) and after the 90s he continued the performance at the National Theater with “Nutcracker” (2016); “Annie” (2019)
Vladimir also performed in television series such as: “Dadoja e pallatiti tone” (2014-2015) and “Motivational story” (2018-2019).
Saliu was also the leader and announcer of many shows of the Circus and part of Tirana’s variety show. Continued his artistic career and became well-known in voice recording for dubbing many characters in cartoons during the 90s and 2000s, a total of 414 recorded voice roles.
