He is the actor of secondary roles, Leonard Daliu.
Born on May 19, 1957, in Tirana. He had his first contact with the stage in 1965, with the elementary school theater group, where he played the protagonist in the play “Bardhyli”.
In 1967, performed the main role in the first Albanian television film “The Laughing Girl” with a script by F. Topi and directed by Kujtim Mece, produced by RTSH.
From 1967 to 1990, Daliu was continuously active in children’s programs of Albanian Television, first as an actor and later as a screenwriter.
In 1990, Daliu wrote the script of the first operetta for children, “Edlira”, realized by TVSH and directed by I. Drini. This year, for the first time in RTSH, the dubbing of puppet films in the Albanian language begins.
From 1980 to 1990, was a theater instructor, near the Children’s Center of District 9, Tirana, where the theater group, led by him, won the Festival Flag several times, among ten Children’s Centers in Tirana.
Leonard started directing on stage with the theatrical group of “L. Gurakuqi School”, in 1974, at the age of 17, with the play “The Punishment”, which won the first prize in the Tetra Olympiad in Tirana, where 52 schools participated. this city.
In 1977 – 1980, he was a professional actor with the “Soldier’s Estrada”, near the Cultural Center of the National Army.
In 1987, was a professional actor in the National Puppet Theater.
Over the years, with the professional troupe of this theater, he puts on the stage dozens of plays. Daliu also wrote several scripts for the Puppet Theater: “I will be the king”, “Miss Forest” and others.
His activation in cinematography is rare and in mainly episodic or secondary roles:
The Valley of the Riflemen – 1968 / “Guximtaret” – 1970 / We also fought – 1981 / Footprints in the Snow – 1984 / The Weight of Time – 1988 / The Return of the Dead Army – 1989 / Sounds of Oblivion – 1996, and also not forgetting an episodic role in the comedy “The Prefect” as Mr. Hasan’s son.
