We have often asked who the lady is who plays Olga’s friend in a fragment in the film “Lady from the city”? We have even confused her name with another actress.
Lirika Pali was not an actress, but a simple citizen of a neighborhood in Korça, where part of the movie “Lady from the city” was filmed.
It is interesting and at the same time enigmatic how this lady, a simple citizen, was chosen in this beautiful film to play for a few moments the role of Ollga`s friend where they both meet each other in the alley, precisely in the alley where her house was in reality.
Lirika was 50 years old at the time and had just retired. Her husband was Vasil Pali, also an officer, who had retired too.
From our research and ivestigation, to have more and more information about this lady in question, it turns out that at the time, Vasili and Lirika Pali were renters.
Lirika Pali passed away in 2005!
