Merita Zoto
Actress of the “Popular Theater” and Alba nian Cinematography
Born in Tirana on May 30, 1958. She completed her higher studies at the ILA in the drama department in 1985. In the same year, she became part of the “Popular Theater (today N.TH) in whose stage has performed about 20 roles.
Of course, her greatest success as an actress is her performance in the role of Irene in the comedy “Palace 176”, the role she has achieved most. For the actress Merita Zoto, other roles can be mentioned in the theater, such as Kristina in “The Life of Another”; Partisan Liria in the drama “Shadows of the Night”, Loreta in “Raimonda”; Stress’s wife in “Who brought Doruntina”; Sajdeja at “Besa”; Julia in “Two gentlemen from Verona; Korina in “Holiday Game”; Antonovna to “The Inspector”; “Fox and grapes”; “On the second floor is heaven” etc.
Zoto also performed in the television movie “White Lilies” – 1983 and “And One Day Comes” – 1985.
