Anila Guxho, the young singer of the 80-ties generation

The singer was born in the coastal city of Durres.
She began appearing in front of the microphone in the mid-80s. Guxho was considered one of the talented and up-and-coming young voices in pop music.

She participated for the first time in the 23rd Song Festival at RTSH, in 1984 with the song “U rrita per ty”, as the second performer, understudy of Jolanda Dhamo, of this song composed by Maksim Shehu and lyrics by Skender Rus, which managed to qualify until the 3rd night of the final.

A year later, we find Anila at the 24th Festival at the end of 1985, competing among that brilliant generation of singers, with two songs, “Kur zbresin barijte”, composed by Ruzhdi Keraj and lyrics by Elida Hasantare, and “Me pelqen te dal pagdhire” with music by maestro Tonin Harapi and lyrics by Dritero Agolli.
