Two words about the program presentation icon in TVSH!

For many years in a row, she has been one of the icons of the Albanian announcer, as she announced the program at TVSH, the institution where she has worked, next to the voice director.

Being an announcer at that time was not an easy position at all, it was and had to meet many criteria, among others, not only appearance, but also intelligence, eloquence, clean diction, etc.

Well, Iva was one of those announcers who magnetized the public while these cute girls were announcing the program.

At the age of 16, she won a competition among the many beautiful and television girls of the time to be a presenter on Albanian television, competitions of this nature were organized almost once every two years.

Since that time, Iva will present the program for 30 years on the TVSH screen, her second home.

Three decades, a whole life. It was a privilege for Iva to be an announcer, this job gave her pleasure, but also concern, such as the constant study of the daily program (they were forced to learn it), the attention not to make “slips” as well as the expression in dialect, dress and public appearance.

The latter was also the most disturbing problem based on the requests that the system had. With a lot of effort and togetherness, friends made different outfits that they had to change every time they appeared in front of the cameras.

However, people who did not know her often greeted her on the street, making her feel very proud.

Even today, there is nostalgia for the position of the announcer. “The absence of the announcer is like a novel without a title” she will say today, since this position in TVSH no longer exists.

In the beginning, Iva liked to follow the way of presentation of other anchors such as Mimoza Tafaj, Zerina Kuke or Luljeta Nosi, those who had been before and that Iva found there on television.

Since 1995, when she left the show on the screen as an announcer, she currently works at the Albanian television RTSH, behind the cameras at the sound director’s console, in the manipulation of all shows and especially the news edition.
