PREMIERES OF “TEATRI POPULLOR”!
This year, March 8th marks the 58th anniversary of the premiere of the drama “Cuca e Maleve” by author Loni Papa and director Piro Mani on the stage of the “People’s Theatre”.

It is one of the most successful plays of our Albanian dramaturgy based on a true event .
(1967 – 2025)

However, it should be mentioned that this play had its first performance (premiere) on the stage of the “Migjeni” Theater, Shkoder, in 1966, directed by Mihallaq Luarasi.

1966 – The drama is shown for the first time at the “Migjeni” Theater (directed by Mihal Luarasi)

March 8, 1967 – Premiere at the People’s Theater (directed by Pirro Manit)

1972 – The drama is recorded on Albanian Television – TVSH March 9,

1974 – The ballet “Cuca e maleve” is performed in collaboration with Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” and the Opera and Ballet Theater (directed by Dh. Anagnosti)

The drama “Cuca e Maleve” was awarded the Second Class Republic Award in 1972.
