Rita Lati
Mainly a comedy actress, member of Vlora and Tirana Estrada staff. After the 90s, she often appeared on several comedy shows.
Born on August 28, 1960, in Vlora. She was the only girl after two boys. From a young age, her parents shared the dream of seeing her become an artist, a desire that Rita pursued with recitations and songs that attracted the attention of teachers at the high school of art in Tirana.
After competing among 300 children in Vlora, she came out on top and was accepted into the high school of arts in Tirana. Lati then joined the Academy of Arts for drama and performed in front of a committee that included prominent figures such as Sandër Prosi and Drita Pelingu. She closed the competition with the message “I Won” and emerged as the ultimate winner.
After working for a short time at the Vlora Stage, she became part of Tirana Estrada staff, learning the art of parody and became known to the audience with a unique comedic style.
The Zenepe parody was her first project that made her famous, as she was the only actress who combined music with humor in a way that was rare for the time.
In addition to her comedy roles with the Vlora and Tirana Estrada, she mainly performed dozens of comedy scenes after the 90s that remained in the memory of Albanians, including collaborations with Behar Mera and roles in comedies and films such as “Një baba tepër”, “Para nga qielli”, “Parullat”, “Dashuri me krisma” etc.
Currently, she continues to be active in various artistic projects.
