Anil Frasheri
Albanian Theater and Cinematography Actor.

Son of the great actor Naim Frasheri. Born in Tirana on July 24, 1958. In 1977, he graduated with excellent results from the “Petro Nini Luarasi” High School, and then in the period 1977 – 1981, completed his studies, graduating in the dramaturgy department at the Higher Institute of Arts.

Immediately after his studies, Anil was appointed as an actor in the Popular Theater. On this stage, will have a wide career, being active in about 40 roles in various performances by classical and Albanian authors.

He begins his career with a small role in the drama “Communists” by Ruzhdi Pulaha directed by Piro Mani (People’s Artist).

Other interpretations and his best roles are: “12th Night” (as Captain); “On the brink of life” (as Saliu); “In life” (as Sela); “Monserati” (as Priest); “After the last exam” (as Andoni); “Promise in silence” (as Teacher); “After death” (as Vurko); “Stairs” (as Andoni); “Titanic Waltz” (as Procupius); “The Rise and Fall of Comrade Zylo” (as Petro); “Resistance / Qendresa” (as Sulejman Vokshi); “Two ladies from Verona” (as Turio) etc.;

Anil Frasheri has also acted in several feature films:
1984 – Who dies on foot (as komit); 1986 – Stone of covenant / Guri i beses (as Gjergj Gjatoshi); 1988 – “The Historian and the Chameleon” (as Kozmai the teacher); 2004 – “Moonless night” (as a doctor);

Actor Anil Frasheri is more well-known in the theater genre, where he interprets the assigned roles in the Popular and National Theater with a lot of professionalism, becoming part of a golden generation, of those who make history in the Albanian theater, even though he himself could not reach the level of his father as a versatile actor, the legend Naim Frasheri.
