Genci Mosho
The little actor of the Kinostudio film.
Genc Mosho belongs to a group of child actors such as Herion Mustafaraj, Selma Sotirllari, Zhaklina Dhimojani, Enea Zhegu, Artan Puto, etc. who were made famous by the unforgettable director Xhanfize Keko in Kinostudio’s films.
His career as a child actor began at the age of 5 when the beloved and well-known Albanian director of children’s films Xhanfize Keko selected him among many other children to play the role of Genci in the film “The Newest City in the World / Qyteti me i ri ne bote” (1974).

A year later, “Teta” Xhano, as all the children called her, took Genci to audition for the lead role of Ben in the film “Beni eçen vete” (1975), but at that time he did not win.
However, she gave him a cameo role, that of Bardhi, the boy who throws plums at Ben’s window.
When he turned 8, he played the main roles, that of Gëzim in the film “Tomka and his Friends / Tomka dhe shoket e tij” (1977), after which the director Xhanfize Keko won the trust of the little boy by giving him a year later the role of Luan in the film “After the traces / Pas gjurmeve” (1978) and that of the little shepherd in the film “Little Partisan Velo / Partizani i vogël Velo” (1980), which was his last role in the cinema.

Today he is the director of an elementary school (9 vjecare) in Tirana, but always like every child actor of Kinostudio he remembers fondly the time of the film and the good Aunt / Teta Xhano who loved so much all those boys and girls who were part of her films.
