Tatiana Qurku
Actress of the Theater “Zihni Sako”, Gjirokaster!
Born on August 3, 1953, in Gjirokaster. Completed her studies at the Higher Pedagogical Institute. In 1974, started working as an actress in her town’s theater and very soon she would be one of the most beloved figures for the public of Gjirokaster, after her engagement and contribution as part of the Professional Troupe of the ‘Zihni Sako’ Theater, next to where she worked until 1986.
In 1988, after a two-year break, she would return to the “Zihni Sako” Theater where she would continue to perform until 1992. During her career, Tatjana Qurku has performed dozens of successful roles and liked by the public, where it was undoubtedly one of the first choices of the directors.
Her interpretations have been appreciated by the public, thanks to the roles in different genres or shows performed by this troupe, where Tatjana Qurku over the years has given her valuable contribution to the growth of the performance and artistic life of this institution.
For two years, 1993-1995, she was also a collaborator of the newspaper “Egnatia”.
