Tefta Radi
Journalist, and host of the “Revista Televizive” symbol in TVSH
Born in Gjirokaster in 1952 from parents who had moved to this city, her father was from Leskovik and her mother from Korca. The family later moved to Tirana. At school age, Tefta not only becomes a great friend of the books and is a distinguished student, but also practices the sport of basketball, is active in every activity that the school brings.
She completed the “Naim Frasheri” high school in Tirana and then the language and literature faculty, even though her parents wanted her to become a doctor. 
After graduation, she started working as a teacher in Fushe-Arrez high school. Here, quite by chance, while teaching, she caught the eye of one of her colleagues who worked on youth programs, who, seeing the tone of her voice, encouraged her to compete in a competition organized by Radio-Tirana.
After succeeding in this competition, the new profession of journalism gradually turns into her passion, without separating field journalism from speaking in the studio.
She practices this profession all the time until Radi retires at the age of 60. In her long career as a journalist, we can mention the event when in August 1989 she was asked to do an interview with Mother Teresa, who visited Albania for the first time, an interview which was never broadcast to the Albanian public.
Mrs. Tefta Radi stood out as a journalist who successfully fulfilled the mission of her profession. With a resounding, unmistakable voice, clear articulation and every sentence she gave the right weight to the news she was transmitting.
After the loss of her husband, the famous singer-songwriter Francesk Radi, hurt by this loss, she left Albania in 2017 for Melbourne, Australia.
