Zhaklina Dhimojani – Blattler!
In the section of the “Meteor of the Stage” , we will focus on the actress who performed “Mimosa the spoiled kid / Mimoza llastica”.
We recall the purpose of this column with the aim of bringing out from the “dust” of oblivion some of our actors who, regardless of their acting skills, have had a short career exactly like the lighting and path of a meteor!
Mrs. Dhimojani – Blattler is also included in this category.
Born on July 25, 1965, in Tirana. She comes from a Himariot family. Dhimojani was no more than 8 years old when she played in the well-known children’s film “Mimoza llastica”, even the main role of the little girl pampered and spoiled by her parents and grandmother.
This film and the role performed entered the history of Albanian cinema, it remained as an “identity card” for Zhaklina, who is still today a beautiful and charming woman, resulting in the memory of the spectator, better known as Mimoza.
She did not finish her acting studies even though she showed talent with the role of Mimoza, but according to her evidence, imposed by her parents, she completed her studies at the Faculty of Economics.
However, the directors activated her in two other films: “Autumn Rebukes” – 1981, “Student’s Father” – 1988, although in episodic roles.
Zhaklina is the announcer (spikere) of the festivals and shows for children.
After the 1990s, “Mimoza” emigrated to Italy and then moved to Switzerland, where she currently lives.
