Gjon Vata (1915-1986)
Actor who came from the amateur movement despite his undeniable contribution to the Albanian cinema of Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”.
Vata is born in Shkoder on May 6, 1915. He took part in several performances of this troupe at the “Migjeni” theater. Thus, we can mention him in “Drenusha of Drenice” in 1978 in the role of one of the four committees.
In cinematography, however, he was more active in the films of Kinostudio, although in very small roles, episodic or as an extra one. Vata mainly played the roles of brave and warrior mountaineers, veterans or retirees. This is how it appears for the first time in the film “Journey in Spring” in 1975 and until 1984 we find him in about 9 films, not a little for an amateur actor (always based on an information that we have made possible after a lack and difficulty to find it).
