#KinematografiaShqiptare #TeatriAleksanderMoisiu #AliBega Profile of the actor Ali Bega. He was born in Tirana on January 29, 1942. After graduating from high school with excellent grades, he was assigned, against his will, to the 2-year school in Shkodër for mathematics and physics. Mr. Ali Bega's biography did not allow him to go and continue his schooling in Tirana. That same year, i.e. in 1962, it seemed that a "softening" of the class war had really started. Exactly in that year, the School of Actors was opened in Tirana. He competes and wins the competition by entering acting studies. In fact, he has to start school very late, waiting for some personal documents that had to come from Shkodra. The building named "Aleksandër Moisiu" was the school that had a special history because dozens and dozens of talented actors came out of this building. This school developed its activity near the People's Theater, near the Pantheon of Albanian art. Among his professors were two prominent names, Kujtim Spahivogli and Mihallaq Luarasi. She completed her studies as an actress in this school in 1964, but of course, even after graduation, she was not given the scraps of her biography. For almost 1 year, they set him to make art in the villages of Berat, precisely for this reason in his biography, something that will follow him throughout his artistic life. Mr. Bega's father came from a middle-class intellectual family, he had completed his studies in Germany as a Surgeon-Dentist doctor and mastered 8 foreign languages. Being among the intellectuals, his father was condemned and discriminated against immediately after liberation. This was also a "bad" biography (so far, notes from K.SH taken from the actor's interview in 2006, published in the "Zemer Shqiptare" forum) However, in 1965 he started working as an actor in the Theater "A. Moisiu" in Durres where he continued until 1992. From this year he was appointed lecturer of the subject of Speech Techniques at the Academy of Arts, which he taught until 1998, when he emigrated to the USA. In the years 1995-1998, he was the head of the acting department. He has performed over 100 main and secondary roles. He stood out already with the role of Vehip in the drama Family of the Fisherman by S. Pitarkes, in 1965. A year later he gave an ironic form to the figure of Treplevi in the drama Pulebardha by APChehov. Among his interesting accomplishments was Shefari in the drama Dorina by Teodor Lacos, where he operated in the realm of sarcasm, making visible the meanness, arrogance and panic of the corrupt official. In this direction, he came from year to year completing the physiognomy of his acting, especially with character figures that had a negative bearing. The ironic and sarcastic cuts were also noticed in the treatment of such characters as Handeker in John Priestley's "Scandalous Incident" (1986), Hanks in Henri Bell's "Leprosy" (1988), as he managed to re-draw types and characters. even with few words, even with silence or plastic-rhythmic subtleties (Xake Murrizi in "Mulliri i Koste Bardhi" by Naum Prifti, 1975), Tellalli in "Marga" by Loni Pape", Nacallniku in "Gersheti i luterave" by Loni Papes). At least with a slight languor, which is part of the style, it is characterized by an inner persistence and concentration, by keeping within desirable quotas of psychological tension, which made the conflict, or even contradictions within the character, syllabic; has a clear pronunciation and adapts well to the behavior and dialogue developed with others. Ambiguities, subtexts, combinations and investigation are preferred. Not infrequently, his tendency also leans towards strong alienations with the character, as was seen in the role of the priest in the drama "Perspirtje ne shtebine e Matilde" (1988) or in the drama "Beyond Love" by Dashnor Kokonoz. With the role of Firdus in the drama "House of Rabbits" (1989) by Zija Celes, he gave form to the contradictory spirit of man, raising his protest in a well-understood parable for the public of the time.
