Antoneta Papapavli (1938-2013) "Honored Artist" Order "Naim Frasheri" 1st Class February 17, 1938 – September 23, 2013 Undoubtedly, she remains one of the great ladies of Albanian acting. He was born on February 17, 1938 in the city of Permet. Acting has been her passion since childhood. At this age, he was engaged in dancing, ballet, reciting, which he continued even in high school. In the 1950s, immediately after the opening of the high school for actresses, Antoneta began her studies, where she was in a course with well-known names such as Robert Ndrenika, Viktor Zhusti, Pellumb Kulla; Beautiful Kola, Vladimir Priest. Her teachers will also be prominent names, the Russian Nina Cerfanova, then Kujtim Spahivogli, Mihallaq Luarasi. He learned the profession of an actress who would play about 130 roles from these people who heard about art. After graduating from the drama department at the High Institute of Arts (today the Academy of Arts), she began working as an actress in the People's Theater (today the People's Theater) in September 1964. In the theater she played over 50 roles, such as: the role of Deiz in the drama "Arturo Ui" by Bertold Brecht, the role of Cuca in the drama "Cuca e maleve" by Loni Papa, the role of Afrovit in the comedy "Carnivals of Korça" by Spiro Çomorra, the role of Adela in the comedy "Shine and the fall of shock" Zylo" by Dritero Agolli, the role of Liria in the comedy "Palace 176" by Adelina Balashi, Nusja e Cani te Dulles in "Karavidhet" and many others. Njjele's first film role in "Commissar of Light" in 1966 brings a special feature. to perform about 15 roles. Other roles would then continue, such as the role of Hatixe, Galip's wife, in the film "Tinguj Lufte" in 1976, the role of Klea in the film "The Confrontation" in 1976, the role of Jetta's mother in "Like the Others" in 1981, the role of Sanija, the wife of Adnan Kodra in the film "Shadows that remain behind" in 1985, etc. For health reasons, leg problems and occasional body pain, he was forced to stop his career in 1988. Since this year does not play any role. Directors are still looking for her after 1990, but she refuses because she can't handle acting. In 2003, his illness worsened and he remained paralyzed at home. During this period, he received the "Naim Frasheri" Class I order, various decorations for his contribution to the Albanian scene. After a long illness of 23 years, she left life on September 23, 2013, leaving her image to the spectators, not only the shadow of a true aristocratic lady, but also as a worthy actress, an immortal Icon of our stage.
