Boris Ikonomi (1956-2008) Painter, director of animated films. He was born on April 16, 1956. He graduated from the High Institute of Arts for painting in Tirana. On August 16, 1979, she started working as a painter in the department of cartoons near Kinostudio "Shqiperia e Re". In the same year, he made his first film "Agroni and oil" being simultaneously a painter, director and co-author of the screenplay in two of them: "Work is gold" (1981) and "Anger of letters" (1981); "Ilira" honored with an award (1983); "Need helps you" (1984); "The voice of the chest, the voice of the earth" (1985); "The Spider and the Moth" (1986); "Two brothers and a wolf" (1987); "Mind, mind" honored with the second prize, etc. The recently mentioned film "Two brothers and a wolf" was awarded the first prize at the 7th Documentary and Cartoon Film Festival in 1987. With the reorganization of the Albanian cinematography in v. 1991, the cartoon department was separated as a separate studio, called "AlbaFilm Animacione". From 1994, Boris Ikonomi was appointed as the director of this production studio.
