Bujar Barçi (1953 – 2013)
Economist and producer of Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”!
Born in Tirana on July 19, 1953. Completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tirana. In 1976, started working as an economist at Kinostudio for several years in the film production department.
In 1981, Barci was engaged as a film producer/director in the films “Green Field, Red Field” (1981); “Decision”(1981);
The deceased, Bujar Barci, directed the shooting of 7 other films until 1994: “Tre njerez me guna” – 1985; “And one day comes” – 1986; “Tales from the past” – 1987; “Flutura in my cabin” – 1988; “The Return of the dead Army” – 1989; “Death of a horse” – 1992; “Obituary” – 1994.
In 1994, he left Kinostudio and Albanian cinematography, taking up private activities. Unfortunately, Bujar Barci passed away in March 2013, where he was killed in a bar on “Siri Kodra” street in Tirana, due to a considerable amount of dollars that he had not invested for a business based on his relations and plan with his partners.
