Dhimiter Pecani Actor, director. He was born in Korça on February 3, 1945. He completed his higher studies at the high school for actors "Aleksander Moisiu" in 1966. He worked as an actor near the People's Theater, then a large part of the time in the years 1970-1985 in Albanian Television as Director of Performances and Director of Programming. In 1985, he was appointed director at the National Theater, until he retired. After 1997 he emigrated to France. Dhimiter Pecani's shows aim to give pieces of life that come close to the ultimate reality, by interfering in the actualization of messages, the behavior of the characters, the action environments, etc. One of his first successful performances was the drama "The Winter's Dream" by Teodor Laco at the Fier Theater in 1977. and then in the People's Theatre, where he gave strong colors to the decision of man at the crossroads to choose the right direction in the fierce political conflict during the National Liberation War. The creation of the intense atmosphere in massive paintings, the persistent work for delineating the characters, the poetic situations and the psychological examinations, which are accompanied by frequent breaks and the change of the interpretive panels, stand out in some of his performances, such as the drama "In Front of Yourself" (1984). to R. Pulahes, co-director with Pirro Mani; "Duke u gdhire viti 45" (1975) by T. Laco, "The Inspector's Visit" (1980) by John Presley. It gave a tone of shade that is both poetic and lyrical, just as dramatic and tragic to the well-known work "Romeo and Juliet: by Shakespeare, especially its sad, gloomy ending, with the despair and death of the lovers (interpreted by N. Xhepa and E .Alikaj). It tends to re-semanticize the works of classical authors by bringing them to today's time and environment, as well as processing them from a rhythmic and structural point of view. This is observed not only in the modernization of the behavior of the characters, in the costumes and props used, but also in the way of staging, accents and messages, measuring the timeless and universal side of the literary text. A contemporary treatment was given especially to the comedy "Two Gentlemen from Verona" by Shkespirit, then to classic Albanian comedies such as "Carnavals of Korce" by S. Comoros, in 2003, and in the most contained plans to the drama "Fox and Grapes" by Figueredo in v. 1992. Dhimiter Pecani also acted as an actor on the stage of the theater, as Martin in "Perkolgjinaj" by Kole Jakove (1966), Shpendi in "Toke e zjarte", a dramatization of the novel by H. Sulejmanitej. Pitarkes, "A short winter" (1970) by Sheri Mites, in the comedy "Uninvited Friends" (1978) by Gjike Kurtiq, in the drama "The Last Tragedy of Dea" (1979) by Kico Blushi, "Kulla e Hutajve" (1981) by Kole Jakove, "Rajmonda" (1989) by Artur Zheji.
