He was born in Korce on September 12, 1944. In 1970, he completed his studies at the High Institute of Arts, in the Drama department, and immediately after that he started working until 1990 at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”, first as an assistant and later as a director of documentary and feature films.

In 1974, she attended a postgraduate course for directing. It was 1977 when he directed his first film “Hearts that do not age”, co-authored with E. Mysliu and B. Hoxha. Other films produced by Kinostudio directed by him are: “Nothing is forgotten” (1985); “Strange Wedding” (1986); “A long year” (1987); “Chronicle of a night” (1990).

The creator of this director feels the desire for a realistic language. with environments and actions that come close to the truth of life and human behavior. Among his significant contributions to the creativity of Esat Ibros are those of the documentary film, which he made about 50 of them, among which we can mention: “The Gymnast Brothers” (1975); “Where melodies originate” (1979); “Volleyball players of Divjake” (1981); “Road of the barricades” (1982); “Tombstone” (1986);

In 1997, he founded the film house “IBRO”, producing mainly documentary films such as “The Great Abandonment” (1997); “Escape” (1999); “The singer and the castle” (2001); “Language that never dies” (in cooperation with the Albanian world) 2002, continuing in 2003 with “Roots” as well as cartoons “Stone and Illyria”
