Asim Raxhimi (1930-1985) Sound engineer at the former Kinostudio "New Albania". He was born in Shkoder on May 4, 1930. He graduated from the technical high school in Tirana in the electrical department and after completing his military service, he completed his higher studies in Prague, Czechoslovakia as a weak current engineer, specializing in Film, Radio and Television Studio Technology. . In 1958, he started working at Kinostudio as a sound operator and later as the head of the sound department. He gave great help in directing and organizing the work in the sound studios and setting up a contemporary technology with Perfectone equipment, as well as in the design of the program, the technological project and the management of the works for the recording and synchronization studios, which were completed after the construction in mid-80s. He worked for a period of 2-3 years as the chief engineer of Kinostudio. He returned later to the responsibility of the sound department, working in parallel as a sound operator in several dozen documentary, documentary and feature films. In recent years, he worked only as a sound operator in documentary and documentary films. After his death, he was awarded the medallion for the soundtrack in the documentary film "Stjefen Gjecovi".
