Gordon Mitchell (1923-2007) American actor. There was a time when we watched such actresses on the screen, and secretly sought to learn as much as possible about these icons of world cinema. The American Gordon Mitchell was like that, as far as the two genres of films are concerned, that of antiquity and "Western" films, he was perhaps unparalleled. In fact, Gordon Mitchell is the stage name of Charles Allen Pendleton. Born in Denver, USA – on July 29, 1923. During World War II, he did military service with the US troops and participated in the famous battle of Bulxha (Wallonia region in the territories of Belgium, France and Luxenburg), from where he was even captured and imprisoned by the German Nazis. Later, he graduated from the University of Southern California, becoming a professor in a high school. It is said that during this period as a teacher, seeing his physique as a colossus, he was always given a class with delinquent, problematic students, in order to have these types more easily under control. 
In addition to being a Hollywood "Star", he has been an actor who has dominated films of the "Peplum" and "Spaghetti Western" genres. There are countless films and roles in these genres. 
He is one of the "body-builder" American actresses who immigrated to Italy, where he began a long cinematic career. Here for the first time he is consecrated under the name Gordon Mitchell, where he stands out in the films: "Seven Slaves Against the World" and "Treasure of the Petrified Forest" (1965), then in the "Spaghetti Westerns" genre such as "Beyond the Law" and " Savage Guns”. Mitchell also plays in "Fellini Satyricon" (1969), by the famous director Federico Fellini. 
Mitchell has been a Bodybuilder, "Boddy Builder" and gymnastics professor. At the end of the 80s, he returned to the USA, starting to work as a manager at the "World Gym International" gym, directed by Joe Gold and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
