“The Road of Letters” is the title of the Albanian feature film, produced in 1978 by RTSH, Albanian Public Television
The film was produced according to the script of Dhimitër Shuterić’s story, “Bread and Knife”.

Teacher Dhaskal Todri, a patriot, who had come from abroad, had left all his wealth to bring to Albania a load of brass letters and the creation of the first printing press. Upon his return to his homeland, his enemies were not pleased. The simple caravan accompanying the cargo cannot understand the patriot, why all this had so much value. Teacher Todri did not have the opportunity to reach his homeland because the enemies of the Albanian language killed the patriotic teacher.
