Margo Arseni (1940-2001) Actor of the Theater "Zihni Sako" – Gjirokaster One of the actresses of the professional troupe, who has merged her talent in dozens of premieres of drama or comedy, becoming one of the icons of the artistic temple of the city as is the "Zihni Sako" Theater. Margo Arseni was born on March 18, 1940, and he first started his career near the city stage in 1968, to later join the theater troupe, where his contribution over the years is undoubtedly considered irreplaceable, thanks to his interpretations of which he achieved until 2001. The name of this great artist, in addition to being active in the professional theater Zihni Sako, would also be part of the productions of several Albanian feature films where Margo Arseni was distinguished for his performances in roles and different characters where one of the prominent roles is recorded in the film "Tales from the past". After a serious illness, he would pass away on October 3, 2001, leaving behind a very rich artistic life which has been strongly supported by the applause of art lovers and the public. Without a doubt, Margo Arseni remains even today one of the actresses who has written history in the progress of the artistic life in the city and that of the Professional Theater "Zihni Sako", for which she was also awarded the title "Andon Zako Çajupi" granted by the Gjirokaster Municipality. In addition to numerous interpretations, Margo Arseni has been active and contributed as an assistant director in many premieres set on stage.
