Reminder: December 25 marks the birth of singer, tenor and baritone Kristaq Antoniu (1909 – 1979), People's Artist. Originally from Korça, he was born in Romania, where he graduated from the Mimodramatic Academy of Bucharest. He played the first roles in several films, where he became famous. As a concert performer and operetta singer, he toured Europe with a troupe. 
He returned to Albania in 1935, where he began a lively artistic activity. He excelled in the interpretation of arias from classical operas and folk songs. He passed away on March 17. ______________ Albanian cinematography has been active since 2013
