“Meteore” is just the title of a column, to bring to mind and explore a group of actors who, regardless of their acting skills, were not lucky enough to perform in many films/theaters, thus making their artistic careers resemble the journey of a “meteor”!
Yllka Gjezi – Xhaferri, is one of the actresses who belongs precisely to this group. She was born in Korca in 1956. She only acted in the film “New Shelter / Streha e Re” in 1977 in the role of Verka!
Beside she is the wife of the well-known actor, now deceased Perika Gjezi.
