Thoma Rrapi (1927 – 2006) Actor and director, veteran of our theater and cinematography. One of the lost "stars" of Albanian acting. He was born in Mrostar, Fier on April 20, 1927. He began his artistic career on the stage of the People's Theater, at the same time as the big names of this Albanian artistic temple, Loro Kovaçi, Marie Logoreci, Marika Kallmata, Margarita Xhepa, Viktor Gjoka, Kadri Roshi, etc. 
Even though he played secondary or episodic roles, he skillfully created portraits, different characters both in the theater and in some Kinostudio films. He was an actor with a special interpretive talent, expression, appearance, voice, dexterity, the ability to imitate with movements, gestures, emotional silence, living the character, the inner feeling in function of the character, the emotion he conveys were properties that characterized the actor beratas. He would show these acting qualities in several films, in secondary and episodic roles, such as: "Skenderbeu" (1953), "Tomka and his friends" (1977), "Martyrs of Monuments" (1980), "Time". distant"(1983) etc.
Thoma Rrapi would come to Berat in 1957 and for a long time would carve in the artistic memory of this city the portrait of a special man of the performing arts. He was the first director of the "Margarita Tutulani" Palace of Culture, where different types and genres of drama would try the hand of a great master. His contribution would be felt from the Pioneer House (KKF today), the "Tekstilisti" cinema club, to the directors of various enterprises, to any other artistic activity, completely enlivening the cultural life of the city of Berat. The artist changed his life in Greece on April 29, 2006, just three days after his birthday. In 2018, full merit was assessed with the title "Honorary Citizen of Berat"!
