Successful actor in theater and cinematography.

Born in Tirana on November 22, 1945. An outstanding actor of our Albanian Cinema, above all an actor of the “Teatri Popullor” Troupe, simultaneously a dubber in films and participating in many dramatizations on the radio. Before his career as an actor, he had a work experience in a bakery. But he seems to have been born to be an actor, his special voice and calm character have characterized him as distinguished among the many roles and interpretations of Piro Malaveci.

That’s how he followed his studies at ILA in the department of drama, where he graduated in 1972 and a year later, in 1973, he started working as an actor in the “Teatri Popullor”. There are many roles, and he appears in theater where he has performed during the span of two decades, secondary and episodic roles.

Malaveci started his career in T.P with a few small roles, with the comedy “The Prefect” and then we can mention: “Shenomeni dhe mua”; “Komunistet”; “Prometeu”; “Romeo and Xhulieta” Montagu; “Rajmonda” Viktori; “Kopraci” the servant; “Arturo Ui” (in the role of Shit), “Besa e madhe”, “Vizita e dames plake” (chiefservant); “Dasem gjaku” father of the bride”; “Fando and Lis” Namuni; “Hije te nates” Sotiri etc. until the last ones of the 2000s, “Gomone” (2003); “Darka e gabuar” (2010) .

After 1992, he left the theater to engage in private activities, while he returned to the stage only in a few quality performances in the 2000s, as mentioned above.

In the drama “Pomegranate flowers” by K. Jakova, and then with the screen adaptation in “When the foundations were laid” (1978), he creates the character of Selim Myrto, an honest peasant but very sincere as you can take advantage of him, conveying to the spectator a troubled spiritual world, amid contradictions that cause the character, suffering, doubts, dilemmas.

Pirro Malaveci is a dramatic actor.

In Cinematografi, he will make his debut in 1978, in the aforementioned role of Selim Myrto in the TV series “When the foundations were laid”. Then he will play in several other feature films such as: 1980 “The Intendent”; 1982 “The second of November” in the role of Hasan Prishtina; 1986 “When the doors of life open”, 1987 “Waxed shirts” in the role of Lama; 1988 “Three people cross the mountain” as Vangjeli; 1989 “Elastic Boy” in the role of father; In 2002, he was a voice actor in “For You” (TV Series) with the voice of Ronaldo Konorado.

In 2007, he played in the short film “Mask of Fame”.
