Karafil Shena
Well-known actor of the Albanian theater and cinematography!
Born in Tirana on March 19, 1956. After 5 months, his family was transferred to Mesopotamia, a district in Sarande with heterogeneous Greek and Albanian composition, where he was raised and educated.
The Shena family comes from the province of Tepelene. In 1976, graduated from the high school of culture. Before entering the studies at the High Institute of Arts for the drama branch, he did an internship in the salt mine in Sarande.
Shena completed his studies at ILA in 1981 and this year started working in the theater and stage of Saranda where he worked for a period of 6-7 years. During this time, performs in the drama “Monserati” in the role of the merchant and in the musical comedy “Flame and Snow” by Pellumb Kulla.
In 1987, Shena was appointed as actor in the “Aleksander Moisiu” theater in Durres. With this troupe performs in “Six Years” by Vangjel Heba; “Whisper in the house of Matilda” in the role of Captain George; “Nameless Star” by M. Sebastian in the role of the head of the station, “Letter” by H. Ball.
The actor Shena has also acted in cinematography in the films “In Every Season” (Fotaqi); “Twice Check Mate” (police); “City lights” (Sandri); “The Threat” (Jace); “Temporary Shine” (Berberi) “Who is the killer” (Danieli); “I see you in my eyes”; “Balkan Bazar”; “Amnesty”

After the 90s, Shena emigrated to Greece, where he became active in the “New World” Theater and where he performed the role of an intellectual in a bilingual drama “Polish Emigrants Mrochek”.
The show was given one night in the Greek language and the next night in the Albanian language.
In Greece, he has been active in other performances of Greek theaters such as “Gostia e La Vitali”; “Closed doors” by Jean Paul Sartre, but also in Greek films such as “Goodbye”; “Brazilian”; “King” in the role of an Albanian; “Hostage”;
