Zef Deda (1950-2023) Comedy actor, part of the professional troupe of the Estrade Theater, Shkoder. One of the prominent actresses of this troupe and Albanian humor. Holds the title "Deserved Artist" / "Grand Master"! He was born in Shkoder on July 27, 1950. He comes from a family that has art in their veins. His father, Pjetri, was a painter, the first stage designer of the "Migjeni" Theater and was also involved in acting. My father's uncle, as well as my grandfather, were artists and writers. Also, many of the relatives were related to art. In fact, the comedy actor did not attend any special acting or art school. He did not finish any art school, on the contrary, he completed the Technical College of Construction. But his talent stands out from the young age of 16 when he comes into contact with the art of the stage, when he becomes active in the Vau te Dejes hydro power station run by the unforgettable Gjosho Vasia. So thanks to his gift of impersonations, interpretations and singing, these were exactly the skills that put Zefi in the implementation of his dream of the stage, a long-time dream. He starts high school for language – literature, but cannot finish it due to health reasons. Laureate of the Republic of Albania in 1969, while in the period 1969 – 1972 he participated as an actor in Estrada e Ushtari. It was only in 1973 that she started working as a professional at Estrade in Shkodra, where she continues. 
For more than 40 years in the "Migjeni" theater of Shkodra, creating a gallery of several hundred characters with excellent mimicry and skill. There is no Albanian you do not recognize his roles, his humor. That is why he is so loved by the Albanian public, especially that of Shkodran, who have described him as Albania's Charlie Chaplin, whose character he fell in love with at the age of 25. Zef Deda with his special humor has been evaluated with many awards and titles, for the interpretation of roles and the creation of comic situations. In 1988, he won the award as "The best actor of Albanian humor". He has always been characterized as an actor of free humor full of finesse, with a twisted plastic from which he effectively uses comic gestures, especially imitations and pantomime. The characters created by him, such as Paulin Selim's "Brother-in-law Xhemal", which is still considered one of the most brilliant achievements, are quite well-known among artedashes, a character with which he created an original character. The actor stings people with the habit of boasting, without values, empty, those parasites who seek to speculatively exploit the authority of their relatives with a position in society. Other roles that have made the actor Zef Deda quite well-known and loved by the Albanian public are those of "Kola e dritave", "Testamenti" , imitations of Charlie Chaplin and other imitations, full of jokes etc. He also played in a feature film in the role of a military officer with the aviation forces in "Gjurme ne kaltersi" in 1981! In the many roles he has played, he uses a variety of comic details, surprising findings, a high rhythm of pleasant surprises, adapting naturally to the contradictory situations of the characters. He had pronounced musical vocal skills, which helped him to skillfully play in some difficult genres of variety theater, such as musical couplet, parody. Also, the interpretation of different musical instruments, always with a sense of humor, matching the roles he plays, add to the comic effect of his game, and it is not for nothing that he is considered one of the best comedians in Albania, who continues to practice successfully the profession of an actor. The actor died on November 24, 2023 from a serious illness.
