Petraq Marjani Director, actor of the "Andon Z Cajupi" Korçe Theater. He was born in the city of Korçë on July 10, 1944. After finishing the 7-year school in his hometown from 1958 to 1962, he continued his acting studies at the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja" in Tirana. From 1962 to 1966, he studied acting at the "Aleksander Moisiu" Higher Institute near the People's Theater in Tirana, and this same year he was appointed an actor at the "Andon Z Cajupi" Theater in Korce. In 1972, he completed his postgraduate studies in directing and was appointed a director in this theater. He worked as a director of this troupe until 1977. Then, until 1981, he worked as a director in the "Vangjush Miho" Palace of Culture in Korce. In this year, he was appointed head of culture in the Executive Committee of the KP of the Korce district. In 1987 is discharged from this task with the motivation for liberalism and foreign performances in the orientation and direction of the professional and amateur cultural movement in the district, and is transferred to the Palace of Culture "Vangjush Miho, director again. He worked there until 2006. In addition to directing and organizing professional and amateur artistic cultural life in the district of Korce, he has performed national and foreign dramas and comedies on the professional theater stage. He played the role of Proteus in the comedy "Two Gentlemen from Verona" (1966) by Shakespeare; the German officer in the drama "Three Gunshots" (1967) by Ibrahim Uruc; the Union, in the drama "Flame in the House" (1967) by Zisa Cikulit; Rexho Gurin, in the drama "Last Night of Service" (1968) by Besim Levonje; Lirimin in "Njollat e Murme" (1969) by Teodor Lacos; Bobby in the drama "Angels of Hell" (1971) by Paul Kantes and George Bellak; Niqifor's son in "Shoku Niqifor" (1980) by Pellumb Kulles; professor Jani in "Carnivals of Korce" (1981) by Spiro Comores; in "Mosha e bardhe" by Dritero Agolli, etc. For several years in a row, he directed the Studio for Actresses near the "Andon Z. Cajupi" Theater, which trained young actresses for the theater", the Academy of Art", and the amateur movement, where lectures were given on acting skills, theater history, stage speaking, etc. Some of the plays he staged with the actress studio are: "Prova' e Kostaq Dukes; "Patient doctor" by Ruzhdi Pulaha; "Mjalti i hidur" by Stavri Pone, etc. He staged dramas with the professional theater of Korce; "Daughters of Coban" by Arsinoi Bino; "Rguga e madhe" by Vangjus Zikos; "Enjgejt e sketere" by Pol Kante and George Bellak; "The other's head" by Marcel Eme. While in the variety theater, the premieres of "The speaking eye" and "What's in it for you" laughing"; He has also staged over 20 dramas and comedies with amateur groups. It is the organizer of a series of cultural and artistic activities at the district and national level.
In the Albanian cinematography, he was active in two roles as the aristocratic boy in the film "Rugicat qe kerkonin diell" as well as in the role of Bashkimi in the film "Shoke te nje skuadre" (photos as above).
