Jani Tane
Director of the TV movie.
Born in Korce on August 4, 1951. He had the desire for theater and film since he was in high school in his hometown. Studied at the High Institute of Arts in the drama branch.
Immediately after graduating in 1972, Tane worked in TVSH. At first, he worked as an assistant director with one of the first Albanian operators, Muharrem Kondaj, among the best of TVSH, and then as a director in various television shows, portraits of prominent figures, documentary films or cinema shows, etc.
As a director, he has also shot three television films:
“Partizan Grandfather” (1978) where he is also the co-author of the script; “We also fought” (1981); “An event in the lake” (1982).
He also acted as an actor in the film “Stars of Long Nights” in a very episodic role, in a dialogue with the great actor, Pandi Raidhi.
Jani Tane currently lives in Perugia (Italy).
