Dashnor Zyberi (1955-2006)
Actor and director
Dashnor Ramallari (Zyberi), was born in Kukes on November 10, 1955. He graduated from ILA (Higher Institute of Arts) in 1980, in the acting department for dramaturgy. Zyberi was a classmate with other well-known actresses Ndriçim Xhepa, Bujar Asqeriu, Agim Bajko.
He completed the year of professional practice at the “Bylis” Theater in Fier, together with his fiancee, then later his wife, the actress Donika Cenolli Ramallari. In 1980, the couple moved to Kukes, where Dashnor began his artistic career in his hometown, as a director in the Palace of Culture, and Donika as an actress in the Professional Estrada of Kukes.
The actor produced several dramas with high quality on the stage of the amateur theater in Kukes, as well as being engaged as an actor in several premieres of professional variety shows. Performing arts was always his passion. In not so comfortable conditions, he showed his qualities as an actor in the theater group he led and in the Professional Estrada of this city.
In the Albanian cinematography, the actor was mainly active in secondary roles, which we find him performing in the following films:
1979 – Small Unit……one of 5 heroes
1982 – Friends…….
1990 – Colors of the Age…….
After 1990, he moved to Tirana and worked outside his profession, for economic reasons.
He passed away on December 30, 2006, at an age when he could give a lot to the Albanian scene and film.
