The staff behind the cameras! Rakip Zeneli (1935-2001)
Documentary and documentary film operator! He holds the title "Deserved Artist" He was born in Tirana on January 14, 1935. He completed correspondence studies at the University of Tirana in the History-Geography department. In 1959, he started working at Kinostudio, initially as a driver, but then quickly became passionate about the camera. He gradually worked as an assistant and later as a cameraman in the shooting of newsreels, chronicles and documentaries. His activity, especially in shooting newsreels, is very wide and the quality level of his camera was always increasing. In addition to newsreels, from 1968 to 1985 he shot as a cameraman about 100 chronicle and documentary films, of which about a third were independent, while the rest were co-authors. 
Among the documentary films, the following stand out for their level: "Gezim me vllehet" – 1971 / "Land and people" – 1971 / "The story of sawmills" – 1972 / "Precious stones" – 1972 / "Mosaic of Kosovar songs and dances" – 1973 / "Joy in the eyes of the mother" – 1975 / "Burimi i Mati" – 1978 / "Autumn day in Plase" – 1980 / "Our children" – 1981 / "Our children a beautiful song" – 1981 / "Tourist places in Albania" – 1982, also several documentary films shot in Germany and elsewhere, accompanying artistic assemblies abroad such as in China, Korea, etc. For his wide activity and the artistic level of his films, he was honored in 1989 with the title "Deserved Artist". Other films: "Light of the Party" – 1970 / "Light of Fierce" – 1971 / "Provincial Theater of Prishtina in Albania" / "Chinese Delegation of Agriculture in our Country" and "Chinese Artists in our Country" – 1972 / " Among dear friends" and "Our ensemble in Korea" – 1974 / "The plant and the lands" / "Fierza ushton" / "Teeth and health" and "With the amateurs of the village" – 1975 / "In the bosom of the class" – 1976 / "Army of the military people" – 1978 / "meat and egg factory" and "With our forces and revolutionary jerk" – 1979 / "Guns" / "First of all technical insurance and protection at work" / "The experience of Bucimas" / " Eleni Caveli Folk Dance Ensemble" – 1980 / "A Day in Kutalli" and "The Hole Experience" – 1982 / "Innovative Brigades" – 1983 / "Receptions and Friendly Meetings" – 1984 as well as about 65 other documentary films dozens of newsreel subjects realized together with other cinematographers.
