Love stories that, by the time they were shown in the country’s cinemas, turned into youth soundtracks. Romance within the boundaries of how far love should go in a movie.

“I love Era” is undoubtedly one of the most felt love stories in the Albanian cinematography of the 80’s and 90’s. The protagonists are Ndriçim Xhepa and Luiza Xhuvani in a love story mixed with deep feelings, but ambiguous as it is a complicated situation in an opinion that hits with all possible force. She is pregnant by her fiance, with whom she broke up and met the main character (Ndriçim Xhepa). Both feel for each other, but between them lies the “stained” past that followed them like a shadow from behind.

The film “In every season” was produced by Kinostudio “Shqipëria e Re” in 1980. Another romance in the golden fund of the Albanian film. Zana (Anisa Markarian) and Bardhyli (Arben Imami) are two students who fall in love. Through the spiritual amplitudes of their love, the film reveals their dreams, desires and preferences. With characters who are more or less the same age but also different from each other, the film gives a portrait of the young student. Mountains clad in green

The film centers on a love story between partisans. It was war time, and the young partisan Lilo Labja (Yllka Mujo) falls in love with Jaho. What remains of the refrain from this film is Jaho’s call “O Lilo Labja moreeeee”. The event takes place in ’43 when Kabo, Jaho as well as Peliceli, an Italian doctor and little Zeneli, carry Lilo Labe in a vig, towards the partisan hospital. Jaho shows a particular weakness for Lilo along the way.

Butterfly in my cabin

“Butterfly in my cabin” can be described as a “love story” with an unhappy ending before the 90s. The year it was released in cinemas, this story became a soundtrack of youth conversations.
Tom Melgushi (Ndriçim Xhepa) is a young problematic driver and always criticized by superiors and family members.
He makes quick connections that don’t matter much to him and doesn’t worry about hurting other people’s feelings. But everything changes the moment Flutura, the village teacher, gets into his truck. A glimmer of hope for a lasting relationship with a man he respects lights up in Toma’s eyes.

At the center of this comedy is the love story of Marigo (Elvira Diamanti) with the brave (Xhevdet Ferri), who because of the time in which they live. The 20-year-old Marigo is married to the son of a rich family for the time, whom she certainly does not love. But apart from this fact there is another problem that will serve to make the situation quite comical. The groom is only 14 years old. However, the ending is happy, Marigo marries her brave, who throws stones from the mountain.

A comedy about the life of the years 70. Two young people, coming from different religious beliefs, decide to marry each other and let their parents know their love. In the meeting between the two fathers, the boy’s father, surrounded by his wife and aunt, creates all sorts of comical situations as he cannot hide that he does not love the girl who comes from “another religion”. But finally, he gives up.

A love story that is as entertaining as it is impossible. This story comes like fresh lemonade in an absurd and comical situation at the same time. Theorist Apostol Sako writes articles and lectures on the free love of youth at a time when a great conflict occurs in his family. The daughter, Alma, an engineering student, loves a singer, Andi Bega, when her father will marry her to a diplomat. The conflict is resolved through comic situations and the ending is happy.

Jona, Arseni and Agroni are three recent graduates who are trying to find their place in the life that everyone has dreamed of for themselves. On the other hand, there is Arseni, who has always loved Jona, but has chosen to remain silent. Through their social ties and love, the film enters their spiritual and psychological worlds, thus revealing their concepts and moral values.
