Sali Allmuca
Film painter!
Born in Tirana on October 14, 1956. Head of the High Institute of Fine Arts. In 1980, he made his first film as a painter, “A general is taken prisoner”.
Other films that bear his signature as a painter are: “Old Man and the Foe” – 1981 / “Red Covenant” – 1982 / “Warm hand” – 1983 / “When the Doors of Life Open” – 1986 / “Three Days from a Life” – 1986 / “Circle of Memory” – 1987 / “Who is the Murderer” – 1989.
He also worked as a lecturer at the Academy for “Applied Graphics”, until he left for Germany in 1990, exactly at the time when many others were looking for a better life outside Albania.
Even though Allmuça has benefited a lot from life in the West, he remains grateful to the school and his training in Albania.
