He was born in Tirana on September 16, 1944. He completed his higher studies at the Pedagogical Institute in Tirana. After started in cinematography, first dealing with the filming of newsreels and later alternately with chronicling, documentary and feature films.

Konomi shot as a cameraman about 26 documentary and documentary films, among which the following stood out: “Partisan Mother” (1973) / “Our Language” (1973) / “Monuments” (1974) / “Four Songs for the Party” (1974) / “Our Ensemble in Greece” (1977) / “Manifestation of strength, health and beauty” (1979) / “Arbereshet” (1981) / “Roskide `83” (1983) / “October of songs” (1983) etc.

Konomi had his greatest activity in feature films, shooting about 15 films. He started with the short film “Enthusiast`s Odyssey” (1972);

       

Later, he shot mainly under the direction of directors Viktor Gjika, Dhimiter Anagnosti, Spartak Pecani the films “White Paths” (1974) / “The Confrontation” (1976) / “The Man with the Cannon” (1977) / “The Second November” (1982) “In our House” / “Autumn Rains” etc.

For the high quality of the films shot by him, he was awarded the title of “Merited Artist”. In 1991, he emigrated with his family to Italy as a television reporter in southern Italy.

Other films – documentaries: “Factory and School” (1974), “Besnik of the Party” (1981). ) / “Long life Enver Hoxha” (1983). He also shot 20 other documentary films in collaboration with other operators.

Feature films: “When the masks are removed” (1975) / “The Lady from the city” (1976) / “A difficult journey” (1977) / “Stars on the Drin river” (1978) / “We were coming from war” (1979) / “A general is captured” (1980) / “The old man and the enemy” (1981) / “Traces in the blueness” (1981) / “The first night of freedom” (1984).
