“The 20th anniversary of the liberation of Tirana”
Through the streets of Tirana, pioneers pass with trumpets, who remember the day when their parents marched 20 years ago. In front of the bust of the partisan, they stood to remember those partisans who liberated their capital. In the film there are pictures of the war, destroyed Tirana and German prisoners.
20-year-old young women go to the hills of Sauk, where they are joined by generals, officers and former partisans. A tombstone was erected in the place where the operational headquarters for the liberation of Tirana was located. On this occasion, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the city, Rifat Dedja, spoke.
The leader of the state party Enver Hoxha, Mehmet Shehu, Beqir Balluku pass on the boulevard as in the days of liberation. The pioneers hang the red scarf around their necks. General Muhamet Prodani presents the force to M. Shehu. M. Shehu and G. Nushi greet the partisans.
Rrapo Dervishi, secretary of the city Party Committee opens the festive rally. Gogo Nushi, a member of the Political Bureau, brought the government’s greetings to the liberators. Partisans of different brigades parade. Mehmet Shehu greets the people. The people applaud.
