Meçe, the shepherd Little Velo can’t wait to grow up and become a real partisan. This desire of his is strengthened even more after the killing of his father by his enemies and he insists on replacing him at any cost. Sometimes he is not accepted in the ranks of the partisans because of his young age and “the rifle that is longer than him”. But Velo is not given. Finally, he manages to be accepted among the partisans.
