Vaskë Aristidhi (1923-1993) Director of Albanian cinematography in the period 1963-1972. He was born in Korce in 1923. The eldest son of the cinema veteran in Korce, Nasi Aristidhi, and for a time his colleague in the city's cinema "Majestic". He completed his secondary studies at the French Lyceum in Korce, gradually becoming a good connoisseur of the French language. He joined the Anti-Fascist National Liberation Movement and after the liberation of the country he held important positions in the central bodies of the Labor Party in the cultural sector. In 1963, he was appointed director of the Kinostudio "Alhqiperia e Re" where he worked until May 1972. From there he worked for a while at the Albanian Committee for Cultural and Friendly Relations with the Outside World. He later became the director of the People's Theater until he retired in 1984. He moved to Tirana in 1993.
