Liri Brahimi Director of documentary films. He was born in Tirana in 1943. He studied in the time period 1955 – 1960 at the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja", in the branch of dramatic art, and then, in the years 1960-1965, he graduated from the Academy of Arts in Tirana, again in the branch of dramatic art. Parallel to her studies, she worked as an external collaborator at Radio Tirana, where she broadcasted news for 15 years. After finishing her studies, in 1965, she taught dramatic art subjects in the high school of culture and, then, in 1967 – 1968, she worked as a director of artistic groups in Tirana near the great palace of culture. He started working at Kinostudio as an assistant director and in 1968 – 69 he started working in the newsroom of feature, documentary and feature films where he made over 20 features and feature films, he also worked in 15 feature films as an assistant director, among them: "Captain" -1972 / "Uprising in the Palace" – 1972 / "Conscience" – 1972 / "Operation Fire", "Mimosa Garter" 1973 / "The Explosion" – 1974 / "The Alleys Seeking Sun" – 1975 / "Stars on the Tree" – 1978 etc. But his greatest creativity was in the making of documentary films. He made more than 30 films with various themes and several films of a propaganda character in the series of films for Enver Hoxhen. In 1984, he won awards at the national film festival with the documentary "Through the war diaries" with cameraman Ilia Terpin. She has shot 25 documentary films, many chronicles and short stories, as well as 15 feature films as a second director. He wrote 5 books about cinematography. He retired in 1993.
