Arben Basha
Painter and Costume designer!
Born in Tirana in 1947. Basha was graduated from the High Institute of Arts in the branch of Figurative Arts. After, he started working in cinematography as a costume designer and painter in feature films produced by Kinostudio, such as: “Conscience” (1972); “Looking for the five hours shift” (1974); “The youngest city in the world” (1974);
From 1975 he worked as a film painter, making about 30 feature films until 1994. These films include: “Lady from the city” (1976); “The Fall of the Idols” (1977); “Girls with red ribbons” (1978); “Freedom or death” (1979); “Second November” (1982); “Autumn rains” (1984); “Don’t be silent” (1985); “Tales from the past” (1987); “Spring did not come alone” (1988); “Living Wall” (1989); “Colors of age” (1990); “Death of a Horse” (1992); “Bolero” (1997); “Porta Eva” (2000) and others.
