Zef Mosi Actor of the Estrade Theatre, Sarande, who simultaneously acted in several Albanian films. For the general audience, he is known as Maliqi in the movie "Tales from the Past". He was born in Sarande on March 8, 1956. His family originates from Shkodra. He became active as a child in the house of Pionier in Saranda. It is part of Estrada se Pionier directed by Thoma Milain. He graduated from "Hasan Tahsini" high school. It is precisely here that he continues his artistic activity with the high school troupe, where he performed in the theatrical play "Mulliri i Koste Bardhi", in 1975, the year he also finished high school. It should be emphasized that the activity in the high school was quite wide, not only artistic but also sports. In addition to being an artist, Zef Mosi is also involved with the football team of Saranda. From the youth team, he is active in the ranks of the first adult team with "Butrint". After completing the mandatory military service, in 1979 he competed and was accepted (with delay) in the High Institute of Arts in the acting department. After graduating as an actor, he started working in the professional theater of the city of Saranda. The musical comedy of this troupe entitled "Full of desire" is striking. The viewer of an older generation may remember the actor who stood out in the role of the drowned man in the comedy "Man who saw death with his eyes". The character was tired of life and decided to end it by trying to drown in the river. Fortunately, someone saves him, and the credit for this courageous action will go to a political figure (Mr. Filimon) who, in order to use the moment for his own interests, invites the drowned man (Mr. Mosin) to live for a while in the house of him and instructs him on how to speak during the political campaign for mayor! "Long live Mr. Filimon, the mayor of our municipality"! At the same time, the actor Zef Mosi is active in several films of Kinostudio. This is how it started in 1985 in "Stones of my house"; A year later, 1986, in "Chronicle of those years". With 1987 "Tale from the past" in the role of Maliq until the last film in 2006 "Gjoleka, son of Abazi" in the role of the professor. During the shooting of the well-known film "Tales from the past" in the hanging scene, actor Zef Nosi had a small incident that could cost him his life. Suddenly, something doesn't work and the actions are not synchronized properly, being trapped with the rope around his neck, but fortunately, they catch him immediately. The shooting is interrupted and only after the actor calms down, after about 2 hours they start again to make the film we have today.
