Spiro Urumi (1928-1997) Actor of the Theater "A. Moisiu" – Durres and of Albanian cinematography. "Deserved artist" He was born in Durres, on February 28. She graduated from high school for actresses at "Aleksander Moisiu" in Tirana, in 1963 and then was appointed to the theater "A. Moisiu" in Durres, working in this institution until he retired. He has played on the stage of this theater more than 80 roles, mostly the main ones, but also secondary roles and characters. He used with the same success both expressive tools for the embodiment of characters with dramatic, psychological and heroic emphasis, as well as those related to the embodiment of comic characters. Performed successfully in the plays "Marriage", "Noble Bourgeoisie", "Prefect", ", "Ljobov Jaravaja", "Pulebardha", "Mbi germadha", "Time of Commissioners", "Statue of Captain George", "Beyond Love" ", "Mulliri i Koste Bardhi", "The Fisherman's Family", "Albanian Covenant", "Njellat e Murme", "Gersheti i Lutrave" etc. The full and strong stature and voice, the sensitivity and deep experience of the role, the energy and temperament that reaches unrestrained and neurotic impulses at the key points of the dramatic conflict, were the obvious features of his acting. In the drama "Mulliri i Koste Bardhit" by N. Prifti, Spiro Urumi gave the character of the miller Koste a visible intensity of action and behavior, where the emotional wealth, temperament and truth in the character's life drew attention. He presented Selim in "The Fisherman's Family" by S. Pitarkes in all the necessary antagonism, which increased the dramatic tension of the play, while the majestic figure of Sulejman Vokshi in the drama "Albanian Covenant" – 1979 by S. Krasniqi, he interpreted in the planes of the epic and the sublime, avoiding the outer sides. Although he is a dramatic actor, Spiro Urumi has also tried satire. Such natural conquests redeemed by drama and the psychological and neurotic tones of satire and its quirks, were an organic part of his acting, an expression of the wide range of acting tools. He also played in 12 Kinostudio feature films, starting with the role of Fulci in the film "The First Years" – 1965, as well as in the films "Guerrilla unity" (Markalleshi) – 1969, "Conscience" (father of Art) – 1972, "Zani partizani" (commander) – 1975, "A difficult journey" (Kico) – 1977, "Mysafiri" (discoverer Dago) – 1979, "An incident at the port" (Niko, the manager of the pharmacy), "New mornings" (Mr. Maman) – 1980, "Nentori i dyte" (Beu) – 1982, "Gracka" (Teqe's father) – 1983 , "Nothing is forgotten" (Abdurrahman Harizi) – 1985, "Melodi e panderprere" (Sala magazinjeri i garimit) – 1985, "Bitter spring" (consul) – 1985.
